Amy L. Reeves is the Coffee County Circuit Clerk having been elected to this position in 2019. Amy took office in June 2018 after being appointed to fill the position. Amy married Will Reeves in October 8, 2005, and they have two children. They are active members of Damascus Baptist Church and are active in the Coffee County community and very thankful to have this opportunity to serve. 

The Circuit Clerk serves as the courts “official record keeper” and business manager on all court proceedings held in the District and Circuit Courts. While the Circuit Clerk serves as an administrative arm of the Court, the primary responsibilities are to maintain court records and manage the collection and disbursement of court funds for the court system with integrity and security at all times. On a daily basis, the Circuit Clerk’s Office interacts with the public while managing court pleadings, collecting fines and fees, preparing subpoenas and issuing court notices for scheduled trials and hearings. These court records are divided into ten different divisions that include Civil, Criminal, Domestic, Child Support, Traffic, Juvenile and Warrants. Jury management also falls under the duties of the Circuit Clerk. Court records are currently being electronically imaged to make information more readily available to Judges, Clerks and the public. As a constitutional officer, the Circuit Clerk has the responsibility to serve as the Absentee Election Manager on county, state and federal elections for Coffee County.
